An Analysis on the Palay Production in Banga, Aklan
May 2023
Authors:Â Â Cyrus T. Baylon, Jenny Joy C. Ledesma, Paulyn A. Regusta, Mark James N. Relingo
This study identified land area, fertilizer prices, rice seed prices, and farmer income as significant predictors of palay production. Using Multiple Linear Regression, the researchers created a model, ŷ = 133.817 + 0.027x1 + 0.012x2 – 0.016x3 + 0.010x4 that showed a 96.8% variability relationship. The study recommended government subsidies for seeds and fertilizers to optimize production.
Factors Affecting the Performance of Norsophil Metal Resourcesn Incs. in Boracay, Malay, Aklan
May 2023
Authors:Â Joshua R. Alojamento, Jenelyn C. Botenes, Jerica A. Estoperez, Floremay P. Tiagan, Jenhellie Sheen T. Villagarcia
Using a descriptive research design and multiple regression analysis, this study determined that income and construction materials significantly affect the financial performance of this mining and marketing company. It also identified March as the most profitable month for the company's projects.
An Analysis on Live Weight Pricing of Hogs
May 2023
Authors:Â Jayah Joy D. Frondoza, Caila D. Gacul, Gizelle Jane C. Simo, Clifford N. Zonio
Focused on the hog industry in Aklan, this research utilized a correlational design and regression analysis to create prediction models for production costs and live weight pricing. The models are designed to be flexible over time to help raisers sustain profits despite increasing material costs.

Financial Literacy and Budget Behaviors among Families of Poblacion, Libacao, Aklan
May 2023
Authors:Â Â Jobelyn Z. Bonifacio, Rhea O. Villanueva, Ma. Vhency Rose R. Zolina, Jona May Z. Zonio
This quantitative-qualitative study assessed 306 households to find a positive significant relationship between financial literacy awareness and budgeting behavior. The results showed that as families become more aware of financial literacy, their budgeting habits improve.
Analysis of Monthly Retail Prices of Rice and Corn in the Philippines
May 2023
Authors:Â Cheche L. Cuare, Judy Ann R. De Jose, Ma. Pamela A. Roldan, Mark M. Sta. Maria
This research aimed to find the best-fitted models to forecast prices for well-milled rice, regular milled rice, and corn grits. Using ARIMA modeling and the Box-Jenkins methodology on five years of PSA data, the study established price trends to assist farmers and consumers.
Smart or Globe: Students' Preference on Telecommunication Networks
May 2023
Authors:Â Â Janine C. Paderes, Nolie Mark A. Quirino, Elmer R. Rompe, Kimberly M. Vargas
This study analyzed the variables influencing student choices between Globe and Smart networks. The findings revealed that promotional offers are the most significant factor affecting preference, while network coverage is the least considered factor.

Optimization of Solid Waste Management System in Kalibo, Aklan
June 2024
Authors:Â Carleth Diane Z. Andrade, Jona Marie T. Bernardino, Chrisialy Leicah Z. Zonio
This study addressed improper waste disposal by applying Linear Programming, the Hamiltonian Algorithm, and Dijkstra's Algorithm to find the quickest collection routes. By assigning 173 collection points and optimized routes, the researchers found that fuel expenses could be decreased by 41.47% compared to existing routes.
Shortest Path for Tourist Destinations in Aklan using Dijkstra's Algorithm
June 2024
Authors:Â Anjhela Daphne B. Bartolo, Jomarri N. Quilondrino, Lynsel P. Sagales, Ruffa May D. Terrano
To enhance tourist experiences and minimize travel time, this study applied Dijkstra's Algorithm to determine the shortest routes for ten major Aklan destinations, including Boracay and Jawili Falls. It created ten curated tour packages optimized for distance, starting from either Kalibo or Caticlan airports.
Profit Maximization of Piña Weaving Cloth Production in Balete, Aklan
June 2024
Authors:Â Abbygail B. Belotindos, Ria Dianne M. Rodriguez, Ralph A. Sulam
This study used a Linear Programming (LP) model and the Simplex Method to analyze profit across different fabric types. Results indicated that focusing on Pi ña Seda Barong SUK generated the highest profit of Php 4,651,134.00, while Piña Seda Plain Fabric did not contribute to profit maximization.
On the Profit Maximization of Banig Weaving Production in Nabas, Aklan
June 2024
Authors:Â Â Rommel D. Indemne, George D. Relimbo, Jr., Regine G. Tolentino, Mariztel V. Vigo
Using the Simplex Linear Programming Method and Microsoft Excel Solver, researchers created an optimal monthly production plan for a banig weaver. The model proposed increasing the weaver's existing monthly profit from Php 3,200.00 to Php 8,185.45 while reducing material costs.
